“I Still Won”

For the most part the trial had come and gone. All that was left was sentencing -which his father was putting off for as long as he could because there was no way possible he could allow Armand to remain in the pack without losing the trust of the pack. It was clear his father despised him for bringing Armand’s transgressions to light. He didn’t care, it wasn’t new to him and he knew that had this been flopped there would be s lot less apprehension on his fathers part. 

James approached him “Nixon, Armand has requested a few final words with you.” 

Nixon exhaled, he knew his choice would show his ability to lead. He nodded and was led to were Armand was being held. James left him there with Armand, locking the door behind him. 

Armand smirked “I knew you’d agree, ever the obedient one.” He scoffed “You haven’t learned by now? I won’t make him love you any more than he does. it won’t make him proud because you single handedly took what he loves from him.. me.” 

Nixon growled and took a step towards Armand with his fists balled.

“Now now, you wouldn’t want the pack to see that you are quick to anger, would you?” He smirked “We both know just how hard you’ve worked to cover that up.” 

The inner turmoil was ever present on Nixon’s face. Maybe ripping this supposed friend to shreds would be worth it. 

“You see Nixon, I was down because I thought that all I had done was for nothing but this trial made me realize that I still won.” 

Nixon scoffed “You’re going to be exiled. If you’re lucky.” 

“Oh, I know that but guess what, so many things have come to light. Do you know Why father loves me more?” 

Nixon laughed “He is NOT your father.” 

“That is where you’re wrong. He is my father but he is actually NOT yours.”
