Given that he's been in Wonyang for only two months, Shin didn't waste time to be idle in his apartment. He knows the money in his account won't last him a long time if he lived like a worthless asshole. As soon as he got to Wonyang, it took him only a day or two to apply for a job. Albeit the pay was nothing compared to the money he makes in Seoul, it was a decent job. Also, it would keep him on the low. Nothing that would make anyone suspicious of him. He returns to the first coffee shop he worked at in Wonyang, to meet a former co-worker who helped him settle in his job. 

He only worked at the coffee shop for a month, but it didn't keep him from getting to know the people who worked alongside with him. Shin walks into the coffee shop, heading straight to the counter and leaning forward with a playful grin on his face. 

“I finished work at the daycare early so I'm here.” He says as soon as he sees Deryl behind the counter. “How about you fix me one of your greatest blends, my dude? Don't worry. I'm going to pay. Don't worry. I'll pay!”

Fashion has slowly, but surely, become one of Jieun’s passions in life. As a girl, she hadn’t cared much about how she looked, mostly because she simply hadn’t been able to afford to care. That had changed once she got her own job, and finally had money to spend on herself. Once her eyes had opened to the world of beauty, it was hard to let go of that. 

One might not be able to believe it if meeting her privately, as her assertive and argumentative personality would have you think otherwise, but another one of her passions is helping people. Jieun loves her job, not only because she loves the art of cutting hair, but because seeing the smiles on people’s faces after she has given them just the hairstyle they wanted, gives her an immense feeling of joy. And when given a chance to combine two of her passions, who was she to say no? Well, not as much was she given the chance as she was taking it, but eh, same thing. 

“I hope you’re ready to have your mind blown,” she tells Deryl as the two enter one of the shopping malls in Songcheon. The male is one of her clients, and as she has gotten to know him better with her endless prying, she quickly realized the guy needs help. How could he expect to break through as an artist if he doesn’t look the part of a celebrity? Jieun had kindly offered her help, maybe a bit more insisting than offering, and he had agreed, though he had seemed a bit reluctant. However, she is sure he’ll appreciate it once he sees the wonders she can do.

“Hmm, where to start,” she mumbles, mostly to herself, looking the older over. His outfit, while not necessarily bad, is painfully boring — no sane person is going to assume he’s a musician. He’s definitely going to benefit from her help, and hopefully appreciate it, too. “Okay, how about we start finding some basic outfits and I can teach you how to accessorize them nicely?” she suggests. “That sound good to you?”
