Had Kai broke into the home while the owner was out? Broke is such a strong word, he preferred saying that he gently picked the lock before the door just happened to swing open. Moving aside various liquor bottles in search of what he most needed that enjoyable evening, he finally plucked the tequila from its hidden spot in the back. Being a good sport, he grabbed a second shot glass before turning on his heel. “You know, you should really consider upping your security. It’s almost like someone could just walk right in here.”
