Oh gosh! There are.. a LOT pff. I have a long outstanding original project that’s kinda full of dragon characters, and quite a few WoW dragons to boot so I’ll just ramble on about a few of ‘em! Under a cut bc loooong :’)

So first off my WoW dergs!

Xanthiraku

Xanth is one of my newest OCs and I’m super excited to start writing and RPing him more. He’s a Netherwing, so he’s a Black Dragon that was mutated in the Twisting Nether. Like a lot of his Flight, he was enslaved by Fel Orcs, and he bears a lot of scars from the ordeal, both physical and otherwise. It’s made him quite distant and mistrusting of people and their intentions, so he’s very guarded. Though he’s not warm or particularly friendly, he’s a skilled diplomat and negotiator, arguing his case with direct, succinct, and well informed points rather than the ‘meaningless flattery’ - as he puts it -  that some individuals rely on. Somewhere deep down though there’s a very sweet personality; he’s intelligent, creative, and predisposed to wanting to help people.

My Fey Dragon. He’s a nervous little thing with far too much energy and too little confidence. He’s extremely friendly and just wants to help everyone, though his shyness gets in the way of him connecting with people.

Vesyragosa

Vesyra’s my Frostbrood. An old soul, she laments the loss of her life and her current state of undeath. She’s been working alongside the Ebon Blade until recently, when she was offered a place within the Concilium Draconum, which she accepted readily. Her backstory’s still a work in progress! Personality wise, she’s somber, quiet, and observant. She has a great tactical mind, and in private, she has a sharp wit and a love of puzzles, literature, and music. Again, she’s still a bit of a WIP!

Taitheristrasz

Originally a Blood Elf OC, I’ve recently revamped him into a Red Dragon! He’s a big burly warrior with a warm laugh and a big heart. Though he’s a powerful warrior and an excellent commander, like most of his Flight he has a love for all life and a strong desire to preserve and protect it, but also to enjoy it to it’s fullest!

And now onto non-WoW dragons! Though tbh so many of these need a revamp this is gonna just be the main one lol

Madaeus

Mads is actually my oldest OC. He came into being around about 1998, to give you some idea of how old he is as a concept. His story has changed like a thoooousand times over the last 18 years lol and at the moment I’m in the process of sorting this long standing original concept into something coherent, so I’ll try to talk about him as much as I can with what I’ve planned out so far

So... to explain this in the simplest terms: Mads is a Prince of dragons, and his family line are direct descendants of a demigod. There’s his father Maelevir, who is old and dying, his elder brother (who is the heir and first in line to rule) Xakkaris, and then Mads the younger son. Theirs is the oldest ruling clan, since there are no others which are directly descended from a demigod like they are. It doesn’t just give them authority in a ‘traditional’ sense, they actually have power over the rest of their race thanks to ancient magic passed down through their bloodline. Mads finds this repulsive, and opposes the whole system of rule, and as such he and his brother have been at each others throats since they were fledglings; something their father didn’t discourage. Their particular clan are warmongering and have some pretty awful traditions around ‘strength’, power, and control. Again, Mads despises all of this.

His upbringing has made him very jaded, he’s quick to anger, impatient, reckless, hostile, and just generally a huge asshole. It doesn’t help that he harbours a lot of self loathing... like a whole lot.

Fast forward a bit, and Mads finds himself caught up with a band of rebels who’ve gotten their hands on what they believe to be the reincarnation of a Deity. They believe that with this Divine power on their side they might just be able to rally enough support to start a civil war and overthrow the current system of power. Mads is pretty sure they’re going to fail, but when he meets this ‘reincarnation’ in person, he decides to help them anyway against his better judgement.

And the rest is a WIP~!

Xanthiraku | Consul of the Concilium Draconum

I finally designed Xanthir a drake form! I took most of the design from the Netherwing Drakes, and some from the fully grown Nether Dragons, added in a little of my own design such as his ears & horns, and voila~!

He has some serious scarring around his neck, wrists, and ankles from being put in shackles by Fel Orcs. He usually wears things to hide them, but since this is a ref piece I left that out.

oh.. his tail fin should be translucent like his wing membranes but I got lazy orz

Tell us about the dragons/characters that make up the officers? Their flights, how they came together and what made them unite 'Horde-side'?

Currently, only Meleeta and Xanth are ‘officers’. The Concilium is a pretty new initiative, and they’ve only just obtained permission from Alextrasza and Neltharaku to form a group larger than just themselves.

Meleetastrasza is an ancient red dragon, she’s at least 22 thousand years old and had experienced a lot in her time. Mel is the biggest mom dragon you’ll ever meet, but she’s unable to have a clutch of her own due to a grievous injury that happened when she was young. As such, she worked with Alex’s clutches, raising them and caring for them until such time she was sent to lend aide to the heroes of Azeroth.

Xanthir (or Xanthiraku) was one of the first Netherwings to be mutated and spawned out of the Twisting Nether, and he was one of many of his kind to be subjugated by Fel Orcs over in Shadowmoon Valley. He suffered greatly at their hands due to his strong will, and refusal to give in to their control. When his kind were freed by Azerothian adventurers, he sought permission from Neltharaku to follow them through the Dark Portal, and aid their world and it’s people however he could. Feeling that he owed them at least his life, as they saved so many of his Flight’s lives. Xanthir does not discuss his life prior to becoming a Netherwing, and it is widely believed that he has amnesia, though this is unconfirmed.

Meleeta and Xanth met in the Twilight Highlands. Mel was there helping the Red Dragonflight by healing the wounded and defending against the Twilight Dragonflight, Xanth was there to lend a hand to the Reds in any way he could. The two of them got thrown together in an unlikely pairing, perhaps their superiors thought they could learn a thing or two from each other. After Deathwing was defeated and the cataclysm over, they decided to stick together and traveled Azeroth helping where they could with permission from Alex and Nelthar.

Now, with the threat of the Legion looming they’re gathering more dragons and forming the Concilium to deal with the impending invasion.
