{†}—Xavier has Eira pressed against a wall. He looks at her amused, already mostly under his thrall. He never liked to put his victims all the way under, he feels like it lessens the impact of his venom for them. He hates the idea of them not getting the full experience.

    “This is what you want,” he whispers, before sinking his fangs into her neck, drinking deeply from her, sending his venom through her veins. She only struggles for a moment before the venom takes effect. Once he has his fill, he pulls back from her, the wound closing within seconds as he presses a hungry kiss to her lips, her blood still on his lips. A fleeting kiss, before he pulls back.

    “I’ll see you later,” he says, smirking as he begins turning away from her.

I. The Magician — What does your muse consider theirself an expert in?

Xavier considers himself an expert on very few things. He thinks he’s an expert at surviving against the odds and on killing despite the odds, but that’s about it. Part of that comes from the fact that he obstinately refuses to think about his past 1200 years of life.

II. The High Priestess — How does your muse feel about religion? 

Xavier doesn’t believe in anything but this world. He’s met self-proclaimed angels and demons, messengers of higher and lower powers, but they rarely amounted to that much. Usually just overzealous fairies and pixies and the like.

XIX. The Sun — Describe a happy moment in your muse’s life.

When Xavier was a human, he’d saved up a bit of money from doing odd jobs all around the nearest village. He used that coin to buy gifts for his family - a doll for his younger sister, a new yoke for his mother (he remembers it was rough and splintery), and a new scythe for his father (theirs was so old and rusty, it had been used by his grandfather). He recalls the joy and surprise on their faces when he gave them the gifts and he’d never been more content.

{☼}—”Well, I’d say that there has to be something like that. Maybe not a strict plan for each of us, but something guiding us along. It’s the only explanation for why certain things happen - even the bad.”

{↨}—”Fate? Destiny? That’d be nice, but no. How could it? If fate were a thing, there’d have to be a specific plan for over seven billion people, and what about animals? Insects? Germs? Do they have destinies? Why would it only be humans who had fates? No, destiny and fate seemed real when I was a kid, but not anymore.”

{†}—”Hmmm... I’ll have to say no. I’ve lived too long and seen too much to believe that there’s such a thing as fate. Not in the broad sense, that is. Prophecies? Destinies? They’re real. Just rare. Too rare to be the rule.”

{♫}—”No. Maybe soulmates, but not destiny. If destiny were real, we wouldn’t have free will. There wouldn’t be confusion because we’d just know, you know? We’d know what we need to do. When to do it.”

{☼}—”Well... kind of. I mean, there was my camp buddy who I kinda fell in puppy love with but I don’t know if it counts? Sure I miss him... think about him sometimes, but that was drifting apart. Isn’t heartbreak supposed to be quick?”

Xavier is fond of a few animals - mostly livestock.  He grew up a farmboy, and so he has a natural aptitude for caring for livestock - cows, chickens, goats, humans - the typical livestock animals. On another note, he has some compulsory abilities concerning animals, and additionally some transformative capabilities.

{†}—Xavier felt something strange deep within him.  He let out a cough, before letting out a deep breath, his eyes going deep black for a second, before a bright light emanated from his body, his silhouette splitting into two.

{†}—”Chto seychas proizoshlo?”  One Xavier said in a deep, near guttural voice.  His eyes were black as night and his skin a sickly pale color, paler than usual.  His fangs were sharp and out, unusual for him to keep them so prominent.  “I feel.... different.”  The Russian said.

{†}—Meanwhile the other silhouette is a stark opposite.  His hair is more of a brown and there's even a touch of color to his skin.  His fangs aren’t as sharp as normal and there's a bright smile on his face.  “Very... very different.”  He says with a deep, breathy sigh.  He seems more at peace.
