cause this man managed to single handedly convince an entire fkin playerbase that the "Tyrandeee! Saveee meeee!" lines were Malfurion, thus ruining his greatest ops reputation for years to come. he was so convincing in it that people to this day quote those lines when clowning on Malfurion.

Xavius may have lost the battle, but he definitely won the war.

My take on High Councilor Xavius and Captain Varo'then - leader of the queen's personal guard - during the War of the Ancients.

Xavius was described having a face narrow even for a night elf, and eyes replaced with magical black crystals streaked with crimson. 

Varo’then was influenced by descriptions of crested helms worn by soldiers in the War of the Ancients trilogy, and the Azshara-era Highborne symbol. The Captain had a scar running from near the eye to the lip on the left side of his face. While his in-game model has yellow eyes, they were considered special back then and since he wasn’t mentioned to have them, for this depiction I went with silver eyes.
