He peered his head around the corner, checking to see if the coast was clear. Altair didn’t want to see the bad man again. He was scary and mean! Altair didn’t want anything to do with him. However, he was surprised that his shattering of  the glass tube the white coats had kept him in didn’t alert anyone.

Unless they knew he had broken out the whole time... But regardless of the situation Altair had to move, and fast. He couldn’t fly yet, and that was going to make it harder for him to escape.

“Mmmmh... Where’s the exit doors to this place? They’ve gotta be around here somewhere.”

The merchant didn’t recognise any section of the building before and most definitely could not figure out what the current area was about. Thinking over every little possibility made his annoying headache worse. Though he did not even know why a headache had come about since it was extremely unlikely for it to happen. Sephiroth stood silence with one hand messing with his hair for something to do and looked about from the place he stood. It did however take a moment for green eyes to glance about again to finally notice the older man.

“ another person ? How many strangers must I meet... I guess you are supposed to be someone important ? “

Aerith felt trapped. She had wanted to avoid this lab for so long, but here she was. She didn’t regret following Tseng; she had promised Tifa she would protect Marlene, and that was what she had done. But she HATED this man, more than anyone else in the entire world. He wanted to experiment on her, and she wouldn’t be surprised if he had something to do with Zack’s disappearance, too. He had something to do with many problems. He needed to be stopped; he was so damn dangerous, the worst man around.

She had her arms crossed inside her cell and her eyes were on Hojo. He wasn’t even paying attention to her for the moment. She wondered if he would eventually do it. “You wanted me to come, but you weren’t even ready.” She hadn’t spoken loudly; it was mostly a comment for herself, but maybe he had heard it. It wasn’t as she cared.

“Betcha can’t catch me Den-den!” the pup called out to his older brother, who was shifted just a few feet away and rapidly gaining on his little brother. Pawpa said that he could visit the church today as long as Denzel was with him. The large ulfendhar would be trotting into the church later that day. It was too dangerous for Marlene since she wasn’t an Ulfendhar, but Cloud trusted Denzel to take Altair to the church, so off they went. 

“Don’t stray too far ahead Altair!” He called out, watching as the pup shifted into his beast form and rushed ahead towards the soothing building of the church. 

Then... a strange scent hit his nose. It was... another Ulfendhar? Denzel hadn’t noticed, it but the new scent peaked the younger pup’s interest. He had to investigate! 

He trotted off the beaten path with Denzel yelling worriedly behind him.
