Hm, good point. After all, they're not 'really' separate entities; the Face unit is so integrated with its 'pilot' that it serves as the replacement for several unspecified organs. Which now gets me wondering, do Faces ever have to sit down? Like, if they're low on fuel or something, do they just... take a knee? Why am I even thinking about this?

i think face units stand upright in the hangar like most mechs; when they’re low on fuel, egil most likely activates a manual override that forces them to return to base (as seen with face nemesis in that one cutscene). but the thought of a face unit sitting down--the thought of furniture designed specifically for face units--is just too good to pass up

Really, if any Face would have a chair, it'd probably be Xord. He's totally the kind of ham who'd build some kind of scrap metal throne and just lounge around waiting for the heroes, if only he'd had more time to prepare.

I mean, the floor totally counts as a chair right? cause shulk sits on the floor on a number of occasions :v

shulk sits on the floor, but he does not know what to do with a chair. he can sit, just not specifically on chairs

About the chair thing, I remember Dunban sitting, feet on the table, in Alcamoth during Melia's coronation. I think it is this cutscene. But I'm sure he does at some point in Alcamoth on the table in their "prison". As for Riki, with those tiny feet he's already sitting all the time, haha.

I... I'm pretty sure it's always Juju who sits in the buggy, and Sharla is just on the outside of it when she helps with repairs. I guess when Fiora gets in the Mobile Artillery or we see Face pilots those count as chairs, too, but like... I'm pretty sure Sharla, Reyn, and Melia never sit on anything but the floor/ground. What the fuck guys. Why do you not use chairs. Who hurt you.

i’m not entirely sure if face-seats are considered chairs, per se; they’re more like upright surgical beds or pods, because their pilots are sort of implanted in there rather than sitting down at a console interface

Also, also! I always found weird that, during the cutscene where the Emperor says his final words to Melia, Reyn just "Why did this happen?" and sits down, then get up as soon as he's dead. It always captivated my eyes during this cutscene. Why animating Reyn sitting down if he's doing nothing? The camera doesn't even focus him at any time. The others are already kneeling when the cutscene starts. Not a chair, but still always stuck to me for a strange reason.
