He wore a smile for Holli, intrigued by replenishing his cabins supply of drink and the talk of a recent engagement. At least he arrived to the sound of good news for a change. The drama wasn't ever in short supply and it was certain to get worse with his return. "He was a decent reception... surprisingly, but I'm glad to come back and see you happy."

"Oh, hey--" Corinth gasped, just barely finishing pulling his fresh shirt on. After ten days waging competitive combat and coming home still stained with dirt and blood, a shower was second on his list. First was seeing Holli. The lines might have crossed a bit once he'd come home and couldn't wait any longer.

Now the red head was tending to the luggage on his bed. Just a beat up duffle. He might as well dump it all on the cleaners. Nothing was salvageable. "I did bring something back for you, actually." Beside the duffle was a round-ish object, wrapped tightly in butcher paper and thread.

"Hey, Paloma!" Corinth waved to Holli from the small hillside. The scene was Spring come early. Though Corey enjoyed the holidays, this warm weather was preferred. Even if magic and temporary. He offered her a drink, his own take on a paloma for her to try.

Though her Who Done It situation wasn't far from them, Corey was hopeful his presence, the party, and their journey with the goblins could put a skip in his dear friends step again. "Our journey to meet the goblins turned out better than expected." Or had Holli been optimistic? Corinth took Holli's hand to help her sit on his lap. Atop a picnic blanket, beneath a cherry blossom tree. "I think our farewell gifts will send a positive message to."

"I didn't think that poisoned drink would make me feel like such shit later too. I only had one or two sips." Corban groaned out, though he was feeling much better now. He leaned against the wall and gave his eyes one last rub for relief. "Whatever you gave me really helped... thanks."

“looks like we have something in common, cinderella...well other than the our mutual love for plants that open our minds into the unknown.” kit even wiggled his fingers when he said ‘unknown’ as if that would help exaggerate exactly what he was trying to say. “it’s a sad day when not even my precious greenhouse can keep me warm,” an exaggerated huff almost dramatic but whatever little tantrum/speak he was about to start stopped when he saw the flask extended to him. oh why isn’t this a nice little treat. “does that really help? i heard-- actually you know what, fuck what i’ve heard.” like a child reaching for a gift, kit’s eyes sparkled as he took the flask. lifting it up some he muttered a “cheers” and then took a swig. “sooo other than drinking the day away, what have you been up to on this dreadfully dreary day?”
