If you've been following my blog posts so far this year you probably know I've been posting quite a bit about Taiwan's historical Japanese Colonial Era buildings.
There are still quite a few beautiful buildings leftover from that period of Taiwan's history but as I've come to learn apparently not all of the buildings that look "Japanese" and built during the colonial period are actually Japanese..
Or are they...?
Yishan Hall (一善堂) which is nearby Hsinchu’s Xiangshan Train Station is a hidden gem of a Buddhist temple / Family shrine but is also a strange one to say the least.
