He ended up getting knocked out. He was proud to die a human, fighting for his species survival; however, a much worse fate was for him.
He was chained, beaten for good measure, and locked up in a cage to awake the auction block. The richest vampires had personal blood slaves to serve them in any way they wished. Masrur tried to fight against the vampires shoving him on the auction stage; however, he could not escape. He ended up standing there, as an auctioneer called out his information. He was terrified because instead of dying with his pride, he was about to be resorted to a blood slave. This was worse situation. “Please, kill me instead.” he begged anyone who would hear him.
