What are your thoughts on the death of Chris Benoit and his family?

Obviously terrible and something that everyone should be able to handle/process however they want. Benoit’s brain wasn’t a fun place in his later days so that was a big contributing factor to what he did, but, unless you’re not convinced of the final ruling, Benoit committed horrible crimes and that’s something that will always be there.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with still watching his wrestling stuff and enjoying it, though. Not everyone can and that’s more than understandable, but like I said, everyone goes about how they feel on that subject differently and that’s fine. If you don’t want to watch him or you can’t, that’s cool, and if you love his in-ring work and want to appreciate that aspect of his life, that’s also cool.

For a long time I avoided posting much Benoit since I didn’t want to risk starting something, but only once from a non-wrestling fan did someone take issue with it and I loosened up on that policy sometime this year. My blog is all about wrestling and the history of it, so covering what he did as it pertains to Championships/in the ring is something I’m personally OK with.
