Today was a typical gloomy day in Portland. It was Spring, which meant days could go from being sunny and warm to 2 inches of rain in a blink of an eye. Finley was on his way to work when the rain started. He fumbled around for his umbrella, and when he realized he had forgotten it he was already two blocks away from his work. Too late to go back now He was across the street from his work when he caught a glimpse of something from the corner of his eye. He wasn't sure what is was, but it made him turn his head, only to see nothing. He raised an eyebrow and then noticed the walk signal flicker on. He hurried across the street and then turned to look back once more. Still nothing.

Finley's shift at work ended a tad late because he was asked to close up. It was dark outside, and the block was mostly empty besides a few people speckling the side walk minding their own business. He locked the front door of the building and stuffed the keys into his messenger bag. The rain had stopped a few hours ago and it didn't look like it was going to rain in the few minutes it took for him to walk back home, so he went on his way. Again, he saw something from the corner of his eye that made him stop. "Alright, enough playing around." He called out, gripping onto his bag. "Who's there?"

I do not interact with DeeDee enough and that really needs to change, for real [completely my fault tbh]. She puts a lot of work into the multiple characters she runs perfectly, and needs more love most definitely.
