I know its "only October," but I'm having a really hard time thinking of Christmas gift ideas this year.

As of Monday, I have officially started Christmas shopping!

#I've never started before October before #though I usually wait till around Thanksgiving #so far I have a couple small things for my older niece and a book for my little nephew #lizzie liveblogs things #Xmas;#can u believe im using that tag already?

I had no idea what to get my sister for Christmas this year, so I decided to just get a family gift for her, and my niece and nephew (the perks of people having kids... I did the same for my brother's family)... They play a lot of games, so I picked out a card game I thought they'd have fun with, was all excited, and now she just showed me the exact same one that she bought for my niece and nephew. Nice.

I’m so short on money for Christmas… I’ve pretty much finished getting gifts, but I have nothing for my oldest nephew yet, and I still need to get wrapping supplies, craft things to help my niece make presents, and groceries for baking and Xmas dinner. I need around $75+ more and I can’t figure out how to get that much extra money within the next month. Money has been so tight lately and I saved up as much as I could for gifts, but nothing else even crossed my mind until I finished shopping because I was just so relieved to actually be able to buy things for people. I really hope I can figure something out…

I have been in the kitchen for the past five hours baking cookies. I’ve finished four out of five kinds (about 7-8 dozen), and just have the sugar cookies left to make. Which I’m taking a break before doing, because those always take a while, since I have to cut them all out and frost them. I probably won’t be done until after 11, most likely closer to midnight.

I've been so busy the last few days. I spent Thursday and Friday Xmas shopping, my niece hung out all day Saturday and Sunday making gifts, I finished shopping last night and (finally) started putting decorations up, today I have to finish decorating and wrap my gifts, then Wednesday I'm baking, and Thursday and Friday are obviously going to be spent celebrating with family. Tomorrow is the only day I actually have a break from Christmas stuff... And I'm still gonna be busy.
