This is an interesting idea - it’s a racing game, but unlocking parts in game also unlocks them as 3D printable model files.
It might be a bit overambitious since what makes a good video game model may not adapt well to being printed, but I’m quite excited for where this idea may go in future.
I can imagine playing a new Ratchet & Clank or something, unlocking a new costume, and having the option to print out a little statue rather than it being something for the collector’s edition.
(The tagline for XMODULE should totally be “YOU WOULDN’T DOWNLOAD A CAR”)
