the words with you til the end of the line echo in the soldier’s head, so closely associated with steve all these years but he knows that, even unspoken, ring true for bobbi.

bobbi, the wife he left for a lifetime of nothing but war. bobbi, the wife he promised to return to all those years ago. she looks at him and sees the man she fell in love with in decades past, the smiling man who danced and laughed the night away.

what a ruin of himself he is now.

he looks away from her, not being able to force a smile through the wave of guilt that crashes over him. he doesn’t deserve her. doesn’t deserve this. this kindness, this gentle treatment, a belly full of warm food that made him remember in the best possible way and a soft couch to sleep on while he got back on his feet and tried to clear away the fuzz that surrounded the memories of most of his life. didn’t she know what he’d done?

-jemma is the joey to bobbi and ward’s monica and chandler, and ends up covering for them a ridiculous amount of times, even when it potentially could get her in trouble. she swears bobbi owes her big time.

-bobbi is the first one jemma tells about will. she trusts bobbi won’t say anything about it, and it feels good to be able to tell someone about him without (as much) fear for how they react.

-for every holiday, jemma gets bobbi something star wars related. this past christmas, it was bb-8 earrings.

-for the sake of all that is good in this world, do not put jemma and bobbi on the same team in a competitive activity unless you are fully prepared to be decimated.

it isn't exactly COMMON KNOWLEDGE that ellie doesn't like the SHIELD working environment - it's not something she'll parade around - but that doesn't make it any easier for her to settle in. and without her crutch (lincoln), she was finding it hard to find common ground with any of the agents.
