Man the X-Nauts make so much more sense after learning more about anime

I can see how Japanese Audiences could just roll with these weirdoes and their lack of backstory. Often the evil gangs in cartoons didn't really need one.

Their logo and name is even a pun on the British Version of Tic Tac Toe as part of the stealth silliness

An "X" inside an "O", a cross inside a "naught"

They feel like classic anime antagonists that wandered into the wrong story and thus lack all genre savyness. Honestly wish they kinda had gotten Meta with that like the intro of Paper Mario 64 where Bowser inserts himself into a bedtime story. Like them jumping out a tv and into the book.

Would make them offhandedly mentioned as having an anime in Super Paper Mario funnier

Grodus looks REALLY cool I havent beat TTYD yet but Im super excited for his fight

I probably shouldn't have made his sprite bigger then bowsers honestly (I have a bad habit of doing that... but bowsers just so small its hard not to!) but he sure does look like he'd be a lot bigger then Bowser
