Maybe it was his own fault this happened. The power he was so afraid of, up until now, had only been used to protect them. She accused him of needing to be the most powerful telepath in the building, did she know he would be inclined to send her away? It almost made Charles want to defy her, but students were getting lost between dimensions and he wasn’t okay with that. This time, instead of calling her into his office, Charles did his best to catch her alone in the library where she normally was. This was the last straw for him and there would be no mercy.
Before entering, he made sure she was alone. It was early and classes were cancelled for a completely different reason, so he didn’t expect otherwise. Still, he needed to make sure. All of the doors shut after he entered the room, and Charles stopped just shy of her feet. “This has to stop, you cannot be here any longer.”
