Like, sure, I understand that she was in the wrong to kiss Kitty. Especially at a time when she was most vulnerable.

But c'mon- they didn't have to throw away her character like that afterwards.

Bestie, you are literally in love with her too- but unfortunately for your oblivious brain (which has been proven to be oblivious countless of times), you keep thinking you're in love with Juliana. The Yuri/Juliana relationship is a parallel to Kitty/Dae in season one. First love, which you thought would last forever. But one slowly falls out of love and leaves the other behind. Everybody moves on.

Also, they literally did that sparks scene near the vhs shop, but that wasn't Kitty feeling them. It was Yuri. The heart thumping sound? Music fading?

SOUNDS FAMILIAR? COS THATS WHAT HAPPENED IN S1 WITH KITTY.

What really pissed me off was when they also gave Kitty and Yuri TATBILB parallels. Like, if you wanna get rid of Yuri as a love interest (which ultimately happens, and Kitty moves on rather quickly to Min-Ho... which I do not understand because as a sapphic myself, you dont get over past situationships that easily) then just give up her parallels to Min-Ho. We all know they're gonna be endgame anyways because the straight couple always wins.

Well. Not always.

After all, this is a Jenny Han series.

We've seen how shit acted out in The Summer I Turned Pretty. Belly gets with Jeremiah in s2, but people who have read book 3 and have seen the s3 teasers know whats up.

So maybe theres still a chance. Some hope.

In my opinion, they might be signalling at a major character development for Yuri, since they completely ruined her in season 2. But humans make mistakes, everyone does. She tried to handle what happened maturely and it backfired in her face. And honestly, she should've let Kitty talk too, and the writers should've given them a decent conversation. Not the shit that happened in the ski cabin.

Maybe season 3 will have a Yuri crashout? Especially with the shit with her parents (dont get me started on those assholes. as much as I hate them BOTH, and as much as her mother has improved, i'm also very pissed that they were merely mentioned multiple times, but we never saw them at all, whereas Yuri's entire arc in s1 was focused around them), going broke, realising her feelings for Kitty and crying at how idiotic she had been- now she had not only hurt herself, but also Juliana and Kitty, and everyone around her.

In conclusion, refuse to watch the rest of the season- i'm stuck on episode 4, where Juliana finds out Kitty wrote the letter about Yuri. And that's it.
