Mr. Tom wanted a grilled ham and cheese. Now, if you knew Mr. Tom over the last few months, since his quadriplegia, you'd know that one of the few solaces he's had are his grilled cheeses, with dill pickle stackers. So, this was quite the challenge, all of the pressure. But, I did it. And he loved it. A lot. So much so that Max asked for one. Of course, he demanded sharp cheddar, and the only sharp cheddar available was shredded, so it was a mess. But, I did it, again. Mr. Tom was so happy. And.. it just made me so happy. I adore this man. And to see him so happy in the middle of all of this crap.. I dunno. Just makes you appreciate things a little more. Appreciate each other. Love each other. Time and life won't pause the clock for you - it'll just keep ticking. Don't waste it. Don't regret it. Use it.
