Admittedly, there was something Ultron enjoyed about the twins. He sympathized with them, admired their tenacity and drive, their company alone had even become something he’d grown accustom to. Their mutual despise of Tony Stark was also a bonus.
Even in this place, deep beneath the ground, the caverns of concrete and metal and humming machines, they hardly batted an eye. A testament to the terrible things they must have seen. Initially Ultron felt and understood their wariness, but the three of them soon fell into a rhythmic balance, one born of an comradic understanding and aged in a shared vision of peace.
They all wanted the same thing.
But there were times where he sensed her hesitance. And for reasons he couldn’t understand those moments unnerved him to an extent. He gave her a curious look, shifting his stance to seem less stiff, his head gently tilting to the side, “Wanda~” he announced himself gently, the fact that his mind was closed to her always seemed to make her wary, a bridge that would take time to cross, which made the field even in the A.I.’s opinion. But to counter it, his imposing presence was something he could not help. There was an inviting question in his tone, “Is something wrong?”
