Chris Claremont's X-Men (2018)
the x men can be a little gay. as a treat
What are your thoughts and/or opinions on the new x comics announced?
g-d I’ve want to post stuff from the x men’s san fran run, it was the first full comic arc I ever read and it was cool seeing my hometown in them....but I dont want to subjugate anyone to close ups of greg land art😞

for the most part i felt it was so optimistic and positive compared to most other xmen comics even if it was silly or straight up bad sometimes. like it actually felt like things were going well & mutants had a promising future on utopia, & sometimes youd just have issues about day to day casual stuff on the island & i loved it :(
yeah!!! it was definitely the brightest point since decimation...everyone was (more or less) getting along, it didn’t feel like the scott and logan tee em show like it did after avx, old characters like kavita rao and northstar were being reintroduced, and magneto was being written in a similar manner to his new mutant headmaster days. plus the political stuff was pretty interesting and not just a rehash of old plot points, and the creation of utopia and the x men finally going ‘fine fuck you, we’re starting our own country and there’s nothing you can do to stop us. also we are protecting a lot of illegal immigrants and you can’t stop us from doing that either’ was really cool. and like you said there was a lot of stories that were basically slice of life stuff or, or just character/relationship introspective stuff.....ugh i miss it
the scientific name for mutants is literally ‘homo superior’and you still think the x-men are cishets🤔
