When ever someone messes with Karkat,Gamzee protects him and neither of them care when people give them dirty looks on the streets when they hold hand or kiss outside.
I'd like to think Karkat cares a bit because this is new for him. Holding hands of course, holding hands with Gamzee in public. I believe Karkat would bicker and stuff about the holding hands even though he enjoys it, and then Gamzee would just stand and smile. Maybe a "Chill motherfucker."
The messing with Karkat, and Gamzee protecting is cute though.
