idk, that fishing mechanic is pretty bs too. i was super excited when i first got the game but that tutorial of catching 3 different fish took me 2 hours. the rest of it got my hyped again but i went from practically vibrating in my seat on the way home to just enjoying after that mission. i agree the game is awesome but the luck aspect is fucking ridiculous!

Yeah, they seriously need to do something about that luck/randomizing aspect. It feels seriously warped against the player.

whoa whoa whoa, you can get more stuff for dmw from nintendo zone? i thought the ar cards where all that was released?

Right now, you can get a Pinocchio Girls dress (hood/hair+dress+shoes) plus the recipe to make them if you go to a place that has a nintendo zone, like a starbucks. But don't actually use the zone on your 3ds  -  instead, once you're there, go to your disney magical world game, and select 'get presents'! then in the game you'll have the outfit, plus the recipe in case you want to make it for yourself for whatever reason.

In Japan, they have a LOT more outfits and sets (I saw a Pirates of the Caribbean theme on a Japanese website!) so i'm hoping Nintendo and Disney will release them to other countries/nations in time!

yeah. on that note have you run into any of the magic medals for secret wands? all they say in the location is "cafe" and thats not helpful.

Nope! Not a one! On that note I am equally confused as well :/ Maybe if you rank up the cafe high enough you get rewarded? Or by making certain characters show up? I honestly don't know! Guess we'll have to wait and see.

i have also been playing at an unhealthy rate :p the residents never give me any recipes. all i get are superstar belts :p i wanted to throw an easter party tomorrow :/ oh well. also with the fishing rod you do need the better rods to get sapphires. i have the master rod now and it still takes a while to get the right bubbles.

XD I need the superstar belts! Looks like we're both just really getting what we... don't want.

howd you get all that easter stuff? all i have is a basket and the dlc eggs. scrooges shop wont cycle to easter items and i dont have any recipes for them yet.

Well I have been playing this game an unhealthy amount of time, which gives me time to complete tasks for the NPC Residents, which can sometimes give you recipes and such. So yeah, it's just a matter of time and grinding ^^;
