A year ago today, I was stressed about this guy who I thought was going to be in my life forever. I was ready to leave NC and get my life started in NY. I was ready to prove to myself and to my family that I was really passionate about being successful. A year later, that guy is irrelevant and I just got my pictures published on Vogue's website. This year has literally been the most emotionally draining year I've EVER had. From losing my dad, to realizing how serious my anxiety is, to almost losing my passion for doing photography and questioning if it was the path I was supposed to be on. I am so grateful for the opportunities God has blessed me with and the grace He has extended towards me. I am INCREDIBLY grateful for @tyhadid for taking a chance on me and recommending me to the lovely, Monisha Raja. I am so grateful that my mother BELIEVES IN ME. MY FAMILY BELIEVES IN ME AND IT IS MAKING ALL THE DIFFERENCE. GOD IS GOOD. I'M LITERALLY SITTING IN THE PLANET FITNESS LOCKER ROOM RIGHT NOW JUST CRYING TEARS OF JOY. GAH! THANK YOU LORD!! This is ONLY the beginning and I can't wait to see where the lord takes me next!!!
