Forgive me if this is too forward but, thoughts on Yang/Ruby?

This isn't too forward! I like talking about Enabler, but obviously don't get the chance to talk about it that much

Mostly, my thoughts about them are just that I enjoy writing them

I partially relate to how Ruby and Yang grew up since I also had a parent who drank while also trying to do their best by me

It's hard to say much more without getting too personal, but growing up I really wish I would have had someone who loves me like Yang does Ruby

I do have a sister, but I never felt that close to her and never felt like she loved me

So I like writing them as having been separated for a long time, and when they reunite, they realize that they're both so different and similar to what that used to be like

They get to know each other all over again, and in the process, they realize that they have romantic feelings for each other

I'm not very partial to smut because most Enabler fanfics seem to lean that way, but I prefer to explore the more romantic side of it

I dont like writing it as if it's wrong, because I don't see it as wrong, even if it's incest

There doesn't have to be anything toxic or bad about their relationship for it to be romantic

They can just love each other

I've seen some fanfics where it seems like the authors hate Enabler, and at that point, why do you write it?

I think Ruby should be Yang’s first kiss. Quick and awkward and heart stirring. She just wanted to make Yang feel better, but it becomes so much more.

Yang ends up super blushy and flustered afterwards, and she spends all night thinking about that moment.

Yang x Ruby? I blame horniness for this but it's enjoyable lmao

I like it! :)....if we're still talking about Poser-Era Yang and Ruby.

I can see this ship being really good, with the sisters bonding and being each other's firsts, and then experiencing hurdles and troubles that no one but them understand because they do not have this bond.

But now I just feel bad for Ruby; she went through a terrible time post-Atlas in the Ever After, tormented by Neo and then was driven to the extreme, and her sister can't give a shit.

Ruby had a breakdown because she couldn't fight, and Yang fucking PROTECT BLAKE WHO CAN TAKE CARE OF HERSELF INSTEAD OF HER OWN FUCKING SISTER. Ruby drank the tea, and Yang made no attempt to stop her.

Yang legit makes me hate any ship that contains her as part of the dynamic now, and I wouldn't wish that baggage on Ruby after all she went through.

Was a good ship, then it got ruined - 4/10
