What I Read in April 2026

First of all, I actually read BOOKS in April as well as fanfiction. The library where I work was having a reading challenge the past couple of months, and I read 6 books. Four of them are worth mentioning here, because they kind of go along with my tastes in fanfiction (see the bottom of the list for my Yautja selections.)

Here are all the books I read.

My favorite book author has become Ann Aguirre, because I LOVE her Galactic Love series. I want to give a HUGE shoutout to my good friend, @dystopicjumpsuit, for suggesting these books to me (AND for gifting me the print copies AND the audio book versions of all three!) I loved them more than I thought imaginable. That might sound like hyperbole, but it's not. They have brought me countless hours of joy. I'm actually on my 3rd listening of Strange Love, because it is my absolute favorite, and when I'm stressed, it brings me peace.

What I Read in June 2026

Due to some mental health issues last month, I wasn't able to focus on fanfiction as much, because I always want to be able to comment, and there were many days where I just didn't have it in me. So, that's why there are more books this time than fanfiction. I hope to be more on my game in July.

What I Read in November 2025

This is a list of all I read and reblogged in November. I highly recommend all these fics.

The Star Wars Clones fics are first, then Call of Duty. There's a Miscellaneous section that's mostly knights, but one or two others. And this month I started reading a lot of monster fics, and they're at the bottom, including Yautjas (Predators.)

I also want to give a shoutout to a book that I read. I rarely read books, but this was suggested to me by my friend, DJ. And I loved it so much. It goes along with the monsterfuckin' section, because it's an alien x human pairing. It's called Strange Love by Anne Aguirre.

It was a rough month for me away from Tumblr. I was dealing with some pretty mentally exhausting things, and I didn't have the time or energy to read and reblog as much as I normally do, or as much as I wanted to. I haven't been able to write much on my own fic either, and I'm going to cry if I don't get back to it soon. Here's hoping April is better.

What I Read in May 2026

In April, I mentioned that I started reading books again (mostly listening to audio books), and that continued in May (and still continues.)

The ones I listened to last month were Alien x Human paranormal romances by Ruby Dixon, and more specifically they have all been from her Corsair Brothers series.
