New release today: Poor Man Richie - Your Mind is Like Mine' "Your Mind Is Like Mine," the debut album by Poor Man Richie, is now available on CD, vinyl and digitally through Yazmine Park. The album was officially presented yesterday with two sold out release shows to their home audience of the band in Paradox Tilburg. The single "Gone For The Summer" and album track "Help To The People" already gave an indication of the versatility of the record: blue-eyed soul with influences from rock, psychedelics and Americana. The linchpin of the band is formed by Derrick van Schie and Niels Verweij, who caused a furore in the early years of the current millennium with the Tilburg rock band Wealthy Beggar. The band has scheduled two more live shows, the first on Dec 27 this year, again at Paradox Tilburg as a reprise release show.
