I love Jodi too! She has been instrumental in making the first female doctor so successful and so relatable and well loved. I'd have to agree that Yaz is my favourite companion of the new lot, though I adore how much Ryan strives to be good and caring and open, and how Graham is the only one with a lick of sense. I also miss Grace and all of her potential. Do you have a favourite episode of the most recent season?

Oh my goodness I’m so sorry! The past few weeks have been very crazy and I completely missed this. 

I think it’s hard to pick a favorite because I think a lot of the episodes do a really great job portraying the nuances between the companions and The Doctor. It had that classic Doctor Who feel while also being able to break away from some of the shadow that Tennant and Smith left. If I had to narrow it down I’d say I really loved the Rosa Parks episode because even though it really didn’t make much sense in the grand scheme of things I love how this season has done a wonderful job at adding diversity into the series and is tackling important issues that mirror today’s society as well. I also LOVED the episode where they go back in time and learn about Yaz’s culture and her heritage and her family. That was such a great episode between Yaz and The Doctor and again, I loved how they’re introducing diverse story lines and characters without baiting the audience like some big pop culture series tend to do. I hope this answers your question and I hope you’re having a great holiday season anon!
