The truth about Yokohama Design Gakuin

After living in Japan for almost a full year, I must advise you to stay clear of the school advertised by the questionable service called "gogonihon", called "Yokohama Design Gakuin" or YDC for short. It was a huge waste of time, money and mental health. I suggest for you to ask to real students studying in Japan about good language schools. That is all which I will say for now. I am still looking around to see if Tumblr is a good blogging platform to share my art and thoughts with other people, as I am already fed up with things such as Facebook and instagram.

UrSu thoughts

The reason why I always bring up UrSu not teaching Jen about his quest beforehand is that it was a conscious choice on his part. urSu chose the time of his death, he chose it so the skeksis would be disorganized. But he decided to leave Jen in the dark about it until the very last minute. Of course, there is the opposite of training youth to be nothing but a tool for the quest. We all know a series that did that, several in fact. But the difference is that urSu held all the cards in his hand. He triggered the skeksis succession crisis, thus starting the falling dominos to the Great Conjunction. He knew exactly when to trigger it, too, for maximum effect. So there was nothing stopping him or other urru from giving Jen some useful skills to survive. Or teach him about the prophecy. Instead, urSu put all his faith in Jen magically knowing what to do. UrSu's actions are a perfect example of the way the urru hurt Thra. Inaction and vague riddles do not help in the long term, not on Thra. Yes, urSu destabilized the skeksis for a bit, but Jen was sent with little instructions on how to proceed after getting the shard. In fact, had the garthim not attacked the podling village, Jen would have just sat there happy as a clam while the skeksis would win. (As an aside, we have zero confirmation that would have happened at all. Most likely the Crystal would have just died.)
