The starvation is one thing but the lack of reliable markers to note the days is another. You don't know how long you go between visits, hours or days, and you rapidly lose track of your cycle. Are you late? Will you be forced to give birth to yet more Targaryen bastards down here? Insult to injury, to wasted insurrection? You sleep to pass the time and to ease the aches but it only confuses you more, days passing in a malaise so deep you struggle to even note which one has come to take you now...
