would love to own a house some day. alone. a kitchen and living room, a bathroom, a bedroom, and maybe a study or gaming room. a decent yard to grow lavender and mint and an apple tree with room leftover to play with a dog. a fireplace in the living room. it would probably come with a garage but i don't necessarily need one. if i had one i'd park in the driveway and make it a playroom, with foam mats and "childish" toys and a reading corner with bean bags and pillows. i'd paint the house bright sky blue with coral orange and white highlights, on both the outside and inside. i'd like to keep everything in that color scheme, except for the playroom. a white rug, coral and blue dishware, a white computer desk with a glowing blue keyboard and coral headphones. doorstoppers shaped like paw prints and sinks shaped like scallop shells. i'd like to taxidermy my cat and set aside a spot just for him where he can sleep curled up forever. a small basket with some blankets tucked on the bottom, maybe. or the pet bed by the fireplace. or a shelf at the foot of my bed so i can pretend he's hopped up with my like he does every night and snores.
