Final Update on #YEGExtraLife
Azure literally passed out for a good 24 hours after the 24 hours Extra Life event! I’m so honored to be part of this great experience and to meet so many amazing, talented, skilled and kind people!
A quick final update:
Here are some fundraising numbers! As of earlier this afternoon, Edmonton as a city has raised just over $203,000 CAD. This doesn't include the ESA grant that we'll be receiving in the amount of $30,000 USD or approximately $38,000 CAD. Extra Life Edmonton as a team has raised $75,526 or around $96,000 CAD as of earlier this afternoon. Fundraising stays open until December 31!

Those are amazing numbers and it shows how amazingly caring and kind so many people are to donate to this wonderful event. I’ve met so many wonderful people- from casual gamers that like to play Mario every few months to hardcore platinum players on LoL!!
I already have plans for what to do next year for this amazing event :)
Until then, I’ll keep trying to fund raise some money and in the meanwhile, I’ll be returning back to translating so I don’t take over this blog posting about gaming :) But thanks everyone who watched this journey with me!
