LA REINA DEL FLOW CHART ANALYSIS
This is the chart of my favorite Colombian telenovela, La Reina del Flow. I used the airing date of the 1st episode of the 1st season to create a chart (June 12th,2018,Medellín, Colombia). You can watch it on Netflix if you speak Spanish. Warning:spoilers & sensitive themes ahead
Aquarius Ascendant with Saturn as the Ascendant lord in the 12th house of imprisonment and exile. The novela begins with Yeimy, the protagonist, as a prisoner in the United States, while the guy who wronged her (Charly) is now a famous Reggaeton singer. This is a night chart.
Thus saturn the out of sect malefic so the worst thing Yeimy has gone through is jail. The novela began on a new moon in Gemini, the sign of writing, in the 5th house of art and creativity. Yeimy writes songs, it's her talent.
Charly robbed the songs she wrote and took credit for them himself. Since the new moon is ruled by Mercury, the dark side of Mercury is "the trickster" and it's in the 6th house of enemies. So Yeimy was tricked by an enemy and had her work stolen from her.
New moon usually means new beginnings so it's in the 5th house - this is a new beginning when it comes to creativity, creating life, and children. The new moon is squared by Neptune in Pisces (the sign of fish). Yeimy and Charly had a child (5h), who became a famous singer, and his artistic name is "Pez Koi" (Koi fish). South node (detachment) with Mars in the 1st house of identity/self, North Node (desire) is in the 7th house of relationships. Yeimy desired a relationship with Charly when she was young, she was in love with him.
This desire was faced with disappointment as the North node is also about confusion and unpredictability, in addition to desire. Jupiter in the 10th house shows that the novela gains success all over the world, especially that it rules the 11th house of gains.
Chiron (wounds) in the 3h of neighborhood and local community represents a topic of the show: the vioIence from armed gangs in poor neighborhoods in Colombia. Uranus (chaos/upheaval) in the 4th house of home/hometown/family: armed gangs destroys families such as Yeimy's family.
Chiron also represents healing and in the 3rd house it's the healing in neighborhood and community, and that's a beautiful message of the show: encouraging youth to get into music and arts as a way to combat delinquency and addictions. Also one can heal by finding love.
Chiron trines Venus which represents both art and love/relationships. That's how both Charly and Yeimy healed their childhood traumas, and reconstructed a new life with their son. The 6th house represents the acts of service and Venus is there.
Charly had a great character development and started expressing his love by acts of service, by actions and not merely words. Yeimy was attracted to Juancho (her childhood friend) because he expressed his feelings by acts of service, but he turned jealous and possessive later . This 6h Venus opposes saturn and Pluto by sign which shows tendencies for power struggles and jealousy in a relationship.
