Rommath asks the player to accompany him while he gives Umbric a welcome back home present his stuff back + a place to stay, apparently because he's afraid he might turn evil. or that he'll just jump him if there's no chaperone to help him control himself. that's my personal bet

their dialogue throughout this is ADORABLE AF, tsundere!Rommath is CANON if anyone was even still in doubt!!!

the way Umbric knows what it means even if Rommath would never say it... i 🥹🥹🥹

AND THEN. if you thought that was cute already. watch Rommath basically confess he has a 'weakness' for Umbric. i!!!!!!!

seriously, he's behind this whole thing. HE WANTED TO DO THIS. don't believe it?? just look at the deed on this place!!

and this is not enough. literally a couple quests later, you check in with them again, and they're still hanging out, bantering. and working together!!!! (yeah it's for a like, SUPER important cause, but yk, stillll.)

I am proposing a new tag for yall, especially in the "core” communities (goblincore, crowcore, dragoncore,ect)

The one I am making is called Goblincraft and is mostly going to be about making things from “Scrap” or “Garbage” (You could also go with Obtanium if that is more your aesthetic)

Feel free to reply with y’alls own take on this idea, I can see different “cores” taking different inspiration from different aspects and even including some Solar/Lunarpunk tenancies :

Crowcraft: A project that involves the use of food scraps and small pretty objects

Dragoncraft: A project that uses heavy materials and/or lots of scrap metal

My take on the aesthetics for the "creature cores”  (dragoncore, crowcore, ect)

Goblincore: Broken pieces of pottery, incomplete sets of silverware, cool plants (real and fake), Purposefully sloppy patchwork and repair jobs, fungi/ fungi themed items, bags of small shakeable objects (rocks, dice, teeth, chunky jewlery), playful wrestling, Baking, Shineys

Dragoncore: Mythology books/posters, journals full of pictures/poetry/ect about Folkloric/Mythological creatures and animals you think are cool, Gems and Jewlery (bonus points if kept in a really pretty/special box), Fancy Embroidery, themed outfits, throwing shade with your friends, Horde Piles

Crowcore: Small versions of normal objects, anything black/purple, bones, pelts, clothing that conceals your body shape, beads!!, Stickers to graffiti with, anything that covers up your face from the nose down, seed bombing, being mischievous, Nests (both for you and Your Things)

Koboldcore: Leather objects, crafted metal items, real and fake gems (the bigger the better), weird rocks, doing stupid stuff with The Squad, Well-made Hand-made items, layered clothing, fringe/bells on everything, Cooking, Giving the best Treasures to those you love
