Rob had been suspicious that something was up from the moment he’d seen the expression Kat’s face. She’d seemed nervous, uneasy since he’d turned up at her apartment for a quick visit, more than usual anyway.

“You’re what?” the words sounded harsher than he had intended them to be but he couldn’t help himself. This had better been a joke.

“No, you’re not.” Denying it was worth a try.

His expression sent her stomach plummeting toward her feet. His words didn’t help. Closing her eyes against the dim evening light, she wrapped her arms about herself. “Yes... I am.” Her voice stayed so soft. They’d never discussed children and she hadn’t hoped to keep him, but she hoped for a better reaction than this.

“I’m about six weeks along.” Oh, she’d wanted to be married before she had her first child, but clearly, fate had a different plan. Opening her eyes, she turned to the window, leaning against the frame, peering outside as she avoided his eye. Don’t leave me, her heart begged, but she knew, life likely would tear him away. Warm late spring air flowed through the crack in the window but she feels cold inside, frightened.

Perhaps she should say something about how the unborn child was his, but he knew that. Avoiding the subject of his reaction, she shrugged slightly, trying to imbue herself with the confidence she didn’t have. “Of course, the doctor sent it on to the office, so I’ve been scheduled for maternity leave starting in November... and the baby will be here likely in January.”

Ruby likes to tease Tweek about things like Craig does. It's in the Tucker genes. At first, she likes him because he makes Craig happier, more energetic, less of an ass, and she's never seen her brother get such a goofy grin on his face when thinking about a person. He's good for her brother. Over time, she sees Tweek for the wonderful person he is and likes him as a person. He's part of her family. On the rare occasions where Craig and Tweek argue, Ruby doesn't pick sides.

ruby is so happy that her brother found someone who makes him a better person and less of a jerk!! she adores tweek for that!!! and at first, tweek is probably really uneasy around the tucker household until he gets to know ruby and they hit it off and he’s less jittery!!! they play dress up and watch movies and all that fun stuff!

i think at one point ruby starts referring to him as her brother in law and craig is like “no don’t do that”
