The sucker punch caused him to stumble back, holding his hands to his nose with his eyes squeezed shut as he groaned in pain. The taste of blood in the back of his throat was almost immediate, as was the stream of it down his face from his nostrils once he pulled his hands away. Watering eyes gave the offender an incredulous glare for the strike that came out of the blue as far as he was concerned.
"What the fuck was that for? I don't even know you!"
Based on appearance alone, his first assumption was that she was a one night stand who was angered he didn't call back. In that case, he was in for a bigger whooping if she was angry that he didn't remember her.
