That post where you talk about wanting to run experiments to carefully measure the required amount and temperature of water needed to trigger a Jusenkyo curse gave me the moderately cursed thought that this is not so far off from a hypothetical "Ranma Saotome and the Methods of Rationality."
(in reference to this post)
I suppose, in a broad sense. But HPMOR only works the way it does because HP has a wide variety of magical stuff in one place. Ranma½ really only has the Jusenkyo springs.
Well, I guess it also has a bunch of one-off enchanted items, mostly used as gags and plot devices. Most of which come from Cologne's stock of mystical Chinese artifacts.
...
I think "Ranma Saotome and the Methods of Rationality" would mostly be about Ranma (scion of the Saotome school of Anything Goes Cultural Anthropology) bothering the Joketsu Clan.
