Just cause you love black dick, or you have black friends, or you voted for Obama, it doesn't mean you’re black. That does not give you any special rights or get you a gold star. You can still be racist and get clapped if you say nigga. Freedom of speech won’t save you.
Test shot from the Canon AE1 of a comedian on his day off. I love street photography, because it allows me to capture people as they are or as I see them. For example, this guy had a very laid back personality. As you can see in the photo he is posted on his car smoking a cigarette. What you can't see or hear is him talking about all the new projects he has coming out and that one day this photo will be famous. So when I took the photo I was really thinking like damn he may be right it could one day be famous, so I didn't ask him to pose or anything he did his own pose and I snap the photo and I think I captured his laid back confident personality. #yesimblack (at Five Points Downtown Atlanta)
I decided to share my work on a bigger scale, with that being said please be on the lookout for "JUST TAKE DAMN PHOTO" Murals coming to a city near you. Stay tuned for more details. If you were not able to make it to my first photo show, "JUST TAKE DAMN PHOTO" there are still some prints for purchase on my site. Link in bio. #justtakethedamnphotomurals #yesimblack
How I feel about being stereotyped because I'm black by Blue Tha Cobra
It always kind of seem like people have the general assumption that I (as a young African american male ) and or we (African americans as a whole) always is doing something “negative” . Negative being anything that people see to be unnecessary (such as behaving in a loud disrespectful manner) or criminal-like (committing a crime such as breaking and entering , robbery , drug dealing , etc.) . Me being from Detroit , Michigan , I see this being a normal happening. But that does nor mean I should be profiled but my surroundings and the people I call “my nigga”. Its extremely annoying and degrading for society to look at you and think ” He a trouble maker ” when Im somewhat far from that (I have been in some fights in the past) , Its utterly fucked up . But thats the world for you . Even when you just want something its seem you cant get , you have to go though unnecessary obstacles thats not even worth it . Would you like an example ? http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Black-Teenager-Lawsuit-Barneys-Belt-NYPD-Purchase-Detain-Fake-Identification-228915061.html
