Peggy winced a bit as she stood, ankles still sore and slightly swollen. She could hear Steve fussing with something in the kitchen and it made her frown. Just because she'd mentioned offhandedly about wanting ice cream... the man had to go and fetch it for her even though she was perfectly capable of getting it herself. "Steve." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm seven months pregnant, not an invalid. I can still get my own ice cream."

"You can," he agreed as he finished adding a few scoops to the bowl. "But you don't have to. I gotta be good for something around here." Steve stuck a spoon in and brought it back to the living room and offered it to her, smiling. "And it's too late now, I already got it."
