fully aware he wasn’t the best at time management, 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 made sure to set a 6am alarm to wake up earlier than he’d usually choose on a weekend. after handling his morning routine, 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 compiled everything required for the arrangements he needed to tend to. while making his way out of the door, the male hit the unlock feature on his keys. he carefully put the gift box in his backseat, and set the floral arrangement in his passenger seat. 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 hauled off from the 𝐏𝐒𝐈 𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐀 𝐏𝐇𝐈 house and drove over to the 𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐃𝐀 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐀 𝐌𝐔 house. being that it wasn’t too far of a drive, he found himself in their driveway within a few minutes. upon arriving, he turned down his music and with the car in park, he shot a text to one of the female’s sisters, 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 .. who had agreed to help with his setup; after discovering he wasn’t technically allowed in their home due to the organization’s strict rules. from the beginning, the male had his mind set on one person specifically he’d wanted to take to the dance. even though they seemed to be on common grounds after their long conversation the night before — he wasn’t entirely sure if she’d accept his proposal, but that didn’t hinder him from asking anyway. regardless of doing his best to play it cool, 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 had a highlighted look of nervousness composed along his features. 𝐉𝐔𝐄𝐋𝐙 was the only person that could make him that edgy. once he saw 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 standing at their front door, he got out of his car and acknowledged her from afar with a wide beam that illustrated excitement. “you the goat for this, forreal. ” he claimed loudly to the woman, pointing in her direction. the idea was for 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 to get to their home before 𝐉𝐔𝐄𝐋𝐙 woke up and got her day started — and if his timing was perfect, he made it just in time because the woman appeared to still be asleep. quick on his feet, the lengthy male grabbed the gift box from his backseat, then did a brief jog around his vehicle to gather the bouquet of roses from the passenger seat. “ aight, this is everything. ” 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 detailed throughout the time he handed everything off to 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 at the door. “ i sent you the zelle deposit too for havin’ you up this early. when you’re done just shoot me a text so i can call and wake her up. ”
once the setup was complete and he received the confirmation from aria, 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃 sat in his car and opened his FaceTime app to call 𝐉𝐔𝐄𝐋𝐙. once she answered, he flashed his usual half-smile and positioned himself in a way she couldn’t tell that he was outside of her home, due to his surroundings. “ wake up and go downstairs.” arranged neatly on their dining room table were: two boxes of venus et fleur floral arrangements, a diamond necklace from tiffany & co’, and a handwritten letter that read: i finally got the balls to ask, so take a shot & be my date to dance tonight.
