dec. 14 - ALF 1st day - JUNTRA

we arrived in juntra at past 3. we waited for the ftw's to tell what room were we staying. but before that they told us that different countries will stay in different rooms. so some of us were quite lonely. but still i had nice roomies because one of i them i have already met, kuya gusti. the other one was from palawan, phil kuya joross. we were the first one on the list but we were the last who entered our room because the key can't be found anywhere. ate yo still need to look around the FTW's for the keys. our call time for the mass was around six but that was the only time we entered our room. so we need to hurry and get dress in our national costumes.after we washed up and get dressed we head straight to the conference hall for mass. after mass we had a little orientation about the event and teaching of the unity dance, then finally the ALF was officially opened with the parade of countries. i enjoyed giving out dates and biscuits from KSA. though i didn't tasted all of the delegates' foods. but it was alright they just left some in our table. after the festival we had our dinner.at dinner ME was so hype up that loubelle and kuya bernz danced the arabian dance when the music booth played some arabic tune. that was really fun. after dinner was the presentation per delegate. it was really a colorful night. everyone was very graceful in dancing. GO YFC ASIA.after the presentation we had a worship then hed straight to the first session entitled BE BLESSED given by our very own missionary Kuya BERNZ. it talks about how we are really blessed in this world. God gave us everything we need and want if we just surrender to his will.then after that we some foto off before we head to sleep. before sleeping the boys went to baan keat keow room 4 to just have fun and jam with each other, of course we were with kuya bernz, hehe. but when kuya eduard their roommate was about to sleep we left the room then head to the bahay kubo near the dining area. there we just jammed for a bit while eating together with some other gurls, ate shae, ate chinx, ate apple, mae and loubelle. we just ate, laugh and sang. but when some of us were really sick of the mosquitos which were biting us. that was the time when we decided to sleep. so that's all for the first day. it was about 2 o'clock in the morning when we slept and we to wake up at six thirth. how nice.

dec. 15 - ALF 2nd day

i woke up at six thirthy but it was some kinda dark and quiet so i slept again. then i woke up again at 7:30 then hurried to the bathroom for a shower. both of my roomates were still sleeping so i had to be still in moving so that i won't wake them. after i took a bath i dressed up and head to the dining hall for breakfast. there i saw ate maia. she was eating her breakfast together with some other ME delegates i can't remember who. so i joined them. the breakfast was really good though it tastes different than the normal sausage and ham. while eating ate maia told me that i am going to share later this evening for the session 2. i panic right away and look at my kit and searched for the 2nd session. i asked what is all about. then i read in our kit the first line or the intro about the talk. i says"though our blessings are really abundant, there still are instances where i feel that there is something, that it is not enough. We end up becoming miserable...insecure to be ourselves...broken to be with our family...uncomfortable to be in our community...we conclude that we are not blessed...FOCUS ON GOD, BE ONE WITH GOD"that's when i realize yeah that's true. when we look for something else we can't have that is the time when we say that God doesn't bless us amidst all the things he gave us. after i ate ME people keep coming in intervals. the other girls have already eaten and took a bath, while the other boys went straight to the dining area for breakfast before taking a bath. we really enjoyed the company of each other. after breakfast, everyone was asked to proceed to the conference hall. there we had our worship but before that we were asked to group ourselves according to our id colors. luckily i was kevin loyd and donna. we just stayed together we some other delegates. after worship i was called together with some other delegates including kuya vlad. that was the time i me the other "TALK 2 SHARERS" while the others proceeded to the scheduled workshop. we were called by kuya gelo then we proceeded to the lobby. there together with kuya amid, kuya gelo assigned our part for the sharing and worship. Kuya VLAD - worship leadersharers:Ate GAIL - selfKAYLA - familyKuya CHINO - communityme - worshipafter some intro about the talk we were asked to share what we are going to share later. after each sharing kuya gelo gives some advice on how to elaborate our sharings. we really had fun sharing with each other. the brainstorming ended right after the workshops ended. after parted our ways and joined our delegations. at that time ate maia distributed the conference shirts. i was really happy because it was a brown shirt. it was really nice. then after the shirt giving we head straigh to the dining hall. of course as asked, i joined my groupmates to bond and just give some infos about each other. i some guy from the phil. i forgot his name. he was like 15 yrs old and he was really cool. he was really annoyed to donna because she was like speaking english all the time. hehe. after lunch, again we were asked to proceed to the hall. we had worship then after worship we went to the scheduled workshop. the FTW and MV attended moving forward workshop while the rest of the ME delegates attended the trailblazers' workshop and no one attended the inter-faith workshop. too bad.the workshop was given by kuya onnel. i learned a lot in this workshop. on how to do mission and approach/handle a job given to you. after that we were asked to change for our pure party later of that evening. after that we had a mass. in this mass the ME pple are in-charge. after the mass, we had dinner. i joined the talk 2 sharers group so that we can be more bonded and to hear some additional reminders before our sharing. i really had fun talking to them. we just talk about random things like game, net and etc. after dinner we went back to the hall to prepare for the 2nd session. all of us sat in front as requested by kuya gelo. after some time the worship started which was led by kuya vlad. kuya vlad was really energetic that time and since that time the people call him superman. hehe. after worship the program went straight to the mini creatives then straight to the talk. it was a nice talk/worship  though kuya amid forgot to introduce himself at first (which was the first reminder to us do not forget to introduce yourself first) he still did. the first sharer was ate gail she talked about how was her lyf a she was growing up. after her sharing we had a reflection song entitled "WHO AM I". then after some intro by kuya amid kayla shared, she shared about how she grew with her family. then after another song "STRONG ARM" after was kuya chino he shared how did he overcome those people in his community who rejects their race. then another song "HERE I AM, LORD" in this song i started crying then after the song kuya amid told us to go near someone you like to pray-over and the first person that popped up into my mind was ate shae. i was really crying hard when i was praying for her and vise versa. after ate shae i went to yo i also cried. cry baby. then i was not able to finish the pray-over session with yo because i was already called to share. the flow of my sharing was really smooth. i was over-whealmed after my sharing because a lot of people told me that they were inspired with my sharing, awwwwwww. after my sharing we went straight to a praisefest. i was really crying the whole tym because i was thinking how blessed i am to be at that very moment WORSHIPING GOD. after the praisefest we had the 100%pure party. the party opened with the dance numbers of the singaporeans and the thai people. then straight to the party. we really enjoyed first of all because we got to dance and be wild second be we can see the FTW's who were really wild while dancing. hehe. we really enjoyed the party that was really a party. it ended at about 1 then we had snacks and prepared to sleep. but of course the PASAWAY ME delegates just changed clothes and went to the tambayan. though ate Maia told us to sleep. when there is an FTW who will come in we just offer him some cookies then after that they would join the group and jam with. of course except k Bernz. we were with kuya eduard and kuya mike who were the ones who told us to sleep early. hehe. but everyone was still there having fun. that was the time when we saw SPIDERWOMAN in thailand. and it is because of the picture, which we think was the reason why the bahay kubo is already dislocated. oh and btw the spiderwoman was ate APPLE. after some time ate gail arrived and talk told us to tone down our voices. but that was the time k bernz, k eduard and k mike forced us to sleep. so that ended our night/morning. again we need to wake up early. but a least we had fun in our last night at JUNTRA.

dec. 16 - ALF - 3rd and last day

i woke up really early when i heard kuya mike shouting, he told us to wake up. and i went straight to the bathroom to take bath and changed. after that i went out and straight to the dining hall only to find out at there was no one there and the food was not yet serve. so i just roam around the resort and help yo waking up my fellow delegates from all over asia. when i returned to the dining hall breakfast was already served. after i got my breakfast from the table i saw ate maia and she was like "I KNOW" then she what time we slept, i can't answer her question i was really quiet and she was using her BRATTY look at me. then kuya mike told me that she already know and that was the reason why he was shouting all over our place to wake us up. hehe. so after breakfast i went to some rooms and called the ME pple so ate mai won't be angry anymore. and i think when someone arrives she is "I KNOW" and she was not entertaining us at all. she was really scary. SORRY ATE MAI....after breakfast we had our worship at the session hall, then straight to the third session which was given by kuya rommel ancheta. it was really nice i learned a lot even with the people's sharing i really enjoyed it. the sharers were kuya dave, phil, a girl from singapore, kuya ritchie, indonesia, (watch the vid in my videos it was a nice sharing BURN ASIA) and ate shae, qatar. after the talk we had praisefest but before that we had mass pray-over, where-in a country will pray for another country, i started crying again at start of the prayer pa lng. then it continued until the praisefest. what a nice praisefest. it was really inspiring. after the praisefest, the ILC was advertisedILC '08 - Tagaytay City - LOVE ... - $250 (ME pple start saving, c u der) then we had some foto ops after. after a lot of picture taking we were asked to go back to our rooms and fix our things and bring them to the lobby and have lunch. at lunch some exchanged shirt i go a shirt from malaysia. haha. that was also the time when i fomally knew ate CHRISTINE, FTW from USA, and FTW of kuya BHAM, a former YFC KSA. we also exchanged some contact info and had a lot of pictures. after lunch everyone was at the bus and before we went in the bus we said our good-byes to the BUTALID'S whose flight was later that evening. we were really sad because we can't get to enjoy thailand with them. so after that we went to our bus and left JUNTRA. that was the end of the ALF. but just the start of a lot of thailand shopping and getaways. haha.

dec. 18 - last tym for tour and shopping in thailand - .... super late post.

this day was start when our fellow friend from the phil and the ME goes back to their respective countries...we woke up at 9:00 and start fixing our things then took a bath. that morning was really funny because kuya bernz was the first one who woke us up then when i woke up whe back to sleep then i also went back to sleep. then after some time the other ftws were already waking us up and asked us to eat breakfast. we were all pasaway hehe. after taking a bath we brought our things down and head for the cafeteria for breakfast. we had nothing to eat that morning all we had was spiced up fried rice because we were all already late. hehe. going to the airport - saying goodbye to donna and ate mai after breakfast we went to our vans and loaded our things. all the ME del who were still there rode one bus. we were with ate cy and kuya cash. then the other phil del rode the other 3 vans. we went straight to the airport. when we arrived there we waited for ate mai to arrive. while waiting kuya vlad, marvz and me went in the airport to exchange my money and buy some drinks. then we went back to the departure area. when we were about to exit we passed by donna. and said our goodbyes she started crying again... aww i miss donna. we said goodbye to kuya onnel and ate mai. miss them too. after we went out. btw we were the only ones left from the delegation of the alf who, kuya bernz, me, marvz, vlad, ate apple, mae, ate cy, kuya cash and kuya flip. we waited for our van so that we can go to the center and leave our things first. CFC thailand center + food stall we traveled for like 30-45 minutes going to the center. it was a very cute room with gk colors at a school at the back of the church. so after unloading our things we went to the church and prayed for a while. after that together with kuya bong we walked to the nearest food stall wherein we could eat lunch then kuya bong went back to the center. at the food stall all of us either pork wl rice or pork with noodle. the food was really good. it was not too spicy and it taste good. after lunch we went to 7-11 and just bought some drinks while waiting for kuya bong. Wat poh - reclining buddha after that, kuya bong divided us into two groups so that we can fit in a taxi. i was with kuya vlad, ate cy and ate apple. when we just went in the cab i told kuya vlad to tell the driver to open the meter but the driver said no. it is 200 bht. and we had nothing to do. the trip was really freaky he was like pointing around and singing happy birthday and b4 he point he will call the attention of kuya vlad by holding his thigh. omg. we were really laughing and really making noises. hahaha. the trip was around ten minutes and all he really did was that. then he dropped us on another place which was the grand palace, beside the wat po. so we were like where are the others and when the others arrived at the wat po that was the time only when we realized that he dropped us of the wrong place. so we rode a tuk-tuk, thailand version of phil trike. it cost us another 50 bht. then at last we arrived at wat po. when we went in we saw the ftws there together with the second group. then after that we went in the temple which inside was the reclining buddha. it was really huge and at the back before the exit was long stand full of bowls to place coins. there we need to "donate" 20 bht in order to get a bowl of coins. then we dropped each coin in each bowl. none of us except kuya flip finished the line. all of the others had a shortage of coins. then after that we toured the whole. one freaky place inside was a the place containing huge pagodas and the wall which sourrounds it were full of buddha. then after taking some pictures kuya flip told us to look at the back of each buddha. and we saw some kind of marble which has handwritings and some has pictures which you can only see in a cemetery. then we found out that it was a cemetry. creepy. hihi. so we afar from the buddhas. hehe. then we went around saw a lot of buddha, pagodas, temples, etc. after that we went out. then we rode a taxi. all 10 of us rode one taxi it was huge an innova taxi. Silom Center at the taxi all us were as sleep but i couldn't really sleep i am only half sleep. even kuya bong was asleep because it was really traffic. after the traffic and a turn the driver told us that we were already there so i woke up kuya bong. then he was we are not yet here then after some talk and some look back he said we are already there. but we walk back then walked toward the other street we even passed a stoplight before we could arrive there. it was really a long and tiring walk after a nap. hehe. but still we arrived at silom center. there we meet up with kuya bernz because he went with ate gail to get his ticket then we split up kuya bong went with kuya vlad to drop him off at the aiport. bye kuya vlad. miss u.  ate gail walked with us to the neareat massage. Pranee massage in front of the silom center was a lot of massage. we choosed pranee massage because it offer whole body thai massage. we went it and asked how much. then we had a massage. the funny thing there is we need to change in some kind of the loose polo and pants. i really don't know how to wear them it was really big and with 2 string at different directions. so i put them at the back and tied them in front it was really uncomfortable. hehe. at first i think it was a wrong size but it was really like. i even asked the massuer what will i do with the clothes hehe. i was long hour of massage. it was really good. though i can't dooze off to sleep because some of the massages were a little bit painful but good. and kuya bernz phone was loudy ringing. hehe. after the massage they served us some tea and then we paid. when everyone was finished we went down and looked for a place to eat. Along the street of Pat pong after the massage we went in some stall to look for the things on sale becoz mae was planning to buy a pair of shoes but she didn't found any. so we continued looking for a place to eat. while looking for a place to eat we saw a lebanese restaurant and all of us shouted shwarma...but when we saw the place we tought it was expensive and yes it is. so we had our last dinner together at KFC. the spicy chicken was not really spicy we just enjoyed talking to each other. that was fun. after that we decided to split up because k. bernz,  ate apple, mae and kuya cash are going to the airport already. so before they rode the purple taxi we said goodbyes. at least no one cried. so the four of us, k flip, ate cy, marvz and me continued walking to look for pat pong because k. bong told us to go there so we could buy some cheap staff. while walking there were a lot of men we were showing this mini plakard which says. "sex dvd for sale" of course we after some short walk we saw a street and turned there, yeah it has stalls but that road PAT PONG was a long street with bars not normal bars they GRO bars or the "red light district" which were open so when you look to your right you can see girls in sexy outfits. when we reached the end of the street we decided to leave the place and go back to swuan lum. hehe. we rode a tuk-tuk again. the street we passed by were the real "redlight district" it was packed with girls in either show off-gown or lingerie. but we had nothing to do. it was the "other side" of bangkok. for the past days we were just laughing about it and now, at this time we really saw it. huh. Swuan lum... again the trip to swuan lum was very short i think it only took us less than 10 minutes. of course what to do at swuam lum of course shop. i bought a shirt, a short, a lamp and chopsticks. we really enjoyed the night shopping. kuya flip even shared that he also enjoyed the night because he had no delegates anymore to think of. it was a break for him.after some shopping we went back to the center. at the road we saw a stall which also sells shwatma. hehe. ow how ME pple really loves shwarma. hehe Center again when we arrived at the back of the church, we walked a bit to go to the center. after getting our things kuya bong took a cab to drop us to our hosts. ate cy was seperated to us. so we dropped her first at some kinda condominium. then head straight to tito JASON's, our host, house. it was a little bit far it was ok. we, k. flip, mavrz and me, were with kuya amid. he was staying there since he arrived in bangkok. tito Jason's house when we arrived we just talked with each other tito and tita and us. i enjoyed talking with them. after maybe 10 minutes they went to bed because tito has work early in the morning. then the four of us just stayed for awhile downstairs. i changed to my sleeping clothes and brushed my teeth. then went back to the sala to talk to them. at one in the morning we slept. kuya amid volunteered to sleep below at a sleeping bag because he is sick. then the three of us slept at the bed.
