The Idiot Chronicles
Continued from here
The party had been… fun...for the most part at least. Having been something of an avid drinker and party-goer back home, Yegui had a calm buzz and nothing more by the end of the night. This calm was very suddenly and easily disrupted, however, when he saw his roommate like that, for all the shitty comments and… well..everything, he couldn’t leave the younger in an unsafe situation. He wouldn’t. But he was also just barely buzzed enough for his eyes to flutter closed for a split second at the drunken kiss, and god it took everything he had to keep in the urge to groan before pushing Ming away, only to hold him close when the younger collapsed. “...Idiot.. Lets get you home..” He sighed to himself, picking the other up and holding him close the whole way home.
Come morning, it was obvious the younger would be better off not knowing anything. For that reason, Yegui chose to sport one of his many, many scarves after icing the blossoming bruise at the base of his neck. He made sure the other was alright, that there were migraine pills and many, many bottles of water (and a clean and empty waste basket) beside the other for when he woke. FOr a moment, he thought about leaving.. But he had to make sure the younger was awake and alright before he felt comfortable leaving… even if the younger would probably leave him to die if their situations were switched. But that didn’t matter much. Minghao, for all his faults, was under his care. And no matter how much the younger hated his guts, Gui would be there for him.
