What do you think of the idea of Jiequan having heirs?
How do you think he'd be as a father?
And how would the Sols' act around these kids?
Funny enough, I actually have Jiequan with a son in my Nine Sols AU— (haven't really posted anything about it besides one Yithereal art tho)
His name is Jiekai and in my AU Yi basically took him in as his student some time after Jiequan's death. (In my AU Eigong didn't get a chance to infect the roots and New Kunlun was landed on Earth instead)
I imagine the kid having a rather unhealthy relationship with his father. Like, Jiequan didn't hate his kid, actually the opposite, but concidering his... tendencies and him almost religiously believing in his family's "heroes forged in agony" precept — he was trying to teach his kid the same things. So it was a weird mix of the kid having to endure painful, sometimes ruthless, trainings interrupted by his father's occasional show of affection.
So Jiekai thinks that this is exactly how it should be. That you must experience pain in order to become a whole person.
Yi, noticing these tendencies in the kid, decides to start mentoring him mostly so that he won't grow into a Jiequan 2.0. That process is pretty hard at first because the kid would be resisting, believing that Yi is telling bullshit. But overtime Jiekai starts to question if whatever his father taught him is actually right.
Here's a sketch of adult Jiekai I did months ago.
As for how the Sols would act around him, well, I imagine most of them would consider this to be "none of their business". Except maybe Lady Ethereal and Kuafu who would probably chat with the kid in the rare times they would see him.
