Syvalion
this has a lot of short loops, but it excels at creating tension. example: “Contact”
that said, my favorite track is likely “Beginning of The End”

The Ninja Warriors
first of all, this is astoundingly high quality for 1987.
second of all, this actually matches the MegaCD version --like the redbook is just a recording of the arcade (well, not entirely. several tracks were also remixed. but still.)
“Are You Lady?“ stands out as one of the few tunes that sounds noticably better without the filtered FM sound from the arcade hardware.
Two Minute Drill
it’s a two minute drill, but the entire soundtrack takes three minutes to listen to.
obviously it’s mostly just jingles, but they’re not bad.
“Results” is my favorite here
Warrior Blade: Rastan Saga Episode III
this entire soundtrack is delightfully moody
there’s a lot of voice samples, which I don’t care for as much, but the composition is impossible to ignore.
it’s hard to pick a single highlight, so I’ll just name the first track that made me realize this is going to be a good pack: “Close Your Eyes (Opening)”
World Grand Prix
an incredibly short soundtrack that’s pretty alright nonetheless.
the standout track is the only decent-length track here: “Special To Me”
