Skimming the chap once again, there is one question that didn't get an answer: why was Shiro so injured when he got to the temple? Were there a lot of demons on the way there? The local exorcists were out of commission... Perhaps there will be an answer in the Question Corner someday.

Sooo… Time for some fresh blood. But the Myo Dha are their own tight-knit little cult and won’t have anything to do with the Order of the True Cross.However, their old leader is about to give over the reins to his son. It’s the opportune moment to bring about a change. All Meph needs is a way to show the Myo Dha what they’d have to gain by joining the Order.…Like having just one Knight single-handedly save their entire tribe in a matter of hours.
But with Shiro being in a hurry to get back to Yuri, he needed to be delayed somehow, in order for him to not only stay put long enough to discover the sick people, but to be more or less forced to stay and treat them, with everybody there knowing who he worked for.The logical conclusion:Withhold juuuust enough info to get him roughed up a little, but not killed, so they’d take him in and discover who he is. And tadaah- A whole bunch of people dazzled and in debt, ready to join the Order’s ranks…
