is Yokane Xiaran, a cerulean blood.

He’s a professional photographer and is instantly recognizable by his affinity with the ‘lovecore’ aesthetic. shades of white and pink and red, hearts everywhere, rose tinted heart shaped sun glasses, he looks like a good time

HES NOT A GOOD TIME

Despite being seemingly sweet caring, which he genuinely can be. Yokane has characteristics of the yandere archetype! He’s not a violent kidnapper yandere no no, he stems from the obsessive stalker portion of the trope. He’s not like Faiuen or Deuvoc or even Orlesa with violent tendencies, in fact he rarely had any thoughts of violence before meeting the guy he’s now obsessed with, and he doesn’t enjoy murder like the other three, he feels more indifferent towards it, he’s only killing people who take advantage of the fact his most favorite person is a complete pushover who believes everyone can be good.

He met him due to him being an athlete, he took a job photographing these athletes and his beloved just happened to be one of them. For some reason he felt drawn to him, and instantly became obsessed, more than half the shots he got were of him and not even him doing anything athletic, just doing anything and everything.

He’s began stealing towels, water bottles, anything he touches he can dig out of the trash and keep it. Since meeting him he’s made a shrine in his closet of him. He’s even broken into his hive and stolen a toothbrush of all things.

One of the reasons, besides being oblivious, that this guy doesn’t notice Yokane doing all these things, is because of Yokanes ability to seem like he’s nonexistent. He can walk through crowds and no one will bat an eye because they dont notice him, He can appear invisible to the world. It’s not the fact you can’t see him, its that his ability just makes your brain not pay attention to him or what hes doing. It’s like thinking you hear something when theres nothing there. Your brain doesnt register him, but it feels like somethings there.

His name derives from the term ‘Koi No Yokan’ this is translated literally to ‘premonition of love’ I looked into it and ive found “‘koi no yokan’ is similar to ‘love at first sight’, except with less soppy sentiment. Rather than a feeling of instant love, ‘koi no yokan’ expresses the feeling upon meeting someone for the first time that love is on the cards; a future prospect for love”

 he doesnt feel one way or the other, yokane doesnt even kill that often but if impalement is the way to go to take this person out then so be it??? he cant have people sabotaging his boy, as many have before

🔪- what is the first thing in your house you would use to kill with?

gluttony always already has an array of knives on him but if he actually got a choice to whats in the HOUSE to kill someone, ie, whats in the KITCHEN probably a cleaver of some sort, gluttony has heavy duty blades there in the kitchen he chops up trolls all the time he knows what hes doing

✂️- how do you feel about dismemberment?

he actually quite enjoys dismembering people, its one of the more fun parts of meal prep ya know? getting an arm off a living troll hes in a fight with feels like an accomplishment and the smell of blood makes him hungry, its not uncommon for him to actually start eating his opponent during a fight if he dismembers them, as his unnatural strength comes from the amount of proteins he eat, which meat is filled with ya know?

While being a professional photographer, Yokane is also able to be something of a private investigator for people who suspect cheating quads or anything else

Since he’s able to have the ability to have no presence wherever he is, it makes sneaking into peoples hives and following people to get pictures really easy

He doesn’t get too invested, doesn’t quite understand why people would do the things they do half the time but he doesn’t particularly care, money is money and all he needs is some time and his camera
