I don't know who needs to hear this today but-

You're allowed to make a joke multiple time, you're allowed to tell the same joke as someone else, you're allowed to think the same way.

It just shows that you're present, you're here, you match someone else's sense of humour, or more importantly you're catering to you. Humour isn't bound by those hearing it, quote vines to yourself or laugh at something stupid.

You are human, and human means emotion.
