CHAMPS | Stoked to be a part of such a talented and supportive group of #YoungChampions. One year ago, we got to travel to Berlin for some entrepreneurship training with the @thedoschoolberlin as a part of the Young Champions of the Earth Prize. Since then, I’ve launched my take-back program, collaborated with new artists, collaborated with a natural dyer, sourced sustainable toques and reusable mugs, completed two wholesale orders, taken part in various local markets and festivals, developed an upcycled pillow, spoke on a panel at the @unenvironment Assembly, written an article for a Purposeful Practice Publication, won an alumni award and am working on an embroidery partnership and have made so many new connections with rad folk in the sustainable fashion industry. To say the least it’s been a good year. It’s important to celebrate successes...something I’ve been trying to do more. Thanks for everyone’s support this far. I wouldn’t be here without you.
