@topeconhiilo ------ happy birday peterson dunneingham palace
Spike was never hard to find, the lazy grump he was, if he wasn’t on his bed then he was on hers... or on the couch... or on some fabric she left piling on the ground, or... on any comfortable thing he could find. Admittedly, before getting the idea to find Spike for this small SnapChat to Pete for his birthday, she had recorded about ten different ones of just herself. Three of them were normal enough, her singing, but she didn’t like it. Four had been with some filter involved, but she didn’t like those either. One had been a bit more risque, singing ‘Happy Birthday, Mr. President’ and even whisping her hair over like Marilyn Monroe with bright red lipstick, but she had absolutely no confidence to send that. And then the last two was her basically complaining about making a birthday snap so damn complicated by overthinking it. It was finally that she settled on the idea of using Spike. Pete liked dogs, after all.
Pointing her camera at Spike, starting the video, Valentina started to sing in what could only be a cartoon-y way. Making it seem as if Spike was singing, she zoomed in slowly into his face... before he got up and left. “Happy Birthday..to...you... wow.” Of course, it was very Spike to never corporate. Pressing so the camera shifted to the face camera, she gave a very unimpressed face before speaking. “What a little grump... Guess he’s young and bitter too.” Short laugh, time ending there. Quickly, she sent that off before she could decide it wasn’t enough. It clearly wasn’t going to get any better than that. And then she stared at the phone for too long... waiting for him to see it? They were still in Europe so the timezones were a lot closer but was she really going to sit here and wait for him to open it? What was she? A high schooler? How------ Wait!
Remembering that she didn’t wish him a proper birthday, because of Spike’s abrupt leaving, she quickly took the phone again. “O------Oh! Happy Birthday, Pete! Forgot to properly say it, hah. See you later... Maybe?” And she sent it like that. Okay, now she had to leave the phone alone.
